Cette semaine nous vous faisons découvrir un nouveau titre de notre premier EP TOHOKU, à paraitre en novembre: « Middle-Class ».

Ce titre n’est pas sans rappeler le Smalltown Boy de Bronski Beat , non pas d’un point de vue musical (la veine est plus rock) mais parce qu’il révèle les états d’âme d’un provincial qui rejoint la capitale… Pourtant, il n’est pas question d’une complainte sur le thème du rejet mais plutôt du portrait au vitriol d’un petit blanc-bec qui se fantasme rebelle (a rebel without a cause)

‘A Middle –Class Tragedy’ is reminiscent of Bronski Beat’ Smalltown Boy, not so much as regards the musical style, but rather because of its theme: a smalltown boy arrives in the capital city and feels misunderstood. Contrary to Bronski beat’s song though, this story has nothing to do with intolerance but makes fun of a callow youth who thinks he’s a rebel (a rebel without a cause)
